On February 6, KEC(CEO: Kwak, Jung-So), the largest discrete manufacturer in Korea, acquired an R-Mark, a reliability mark certified by the President of the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards, an arm of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

The certification led KEC’s three products, Zener Diode, Bipolar TR and Rectifier Diode, to be registered with the Reliability Information Center (Korea Materials & Components Industry Agency), which was a major accomplishment of our relentless efforts to enhance product reliability.

R-Mark is an authentication mark for reliability of a product awarded by the President of the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards under the Ministry of Knowledge Economy through a rigorous product reliability evaluation conducted by the certified reliability evaluation institution as part of government’s commitment to enhancing reliability-based technology in accordance with the Special Act on Fostering Part Material Manufacturer

Acquiring an R-Mark not only certifies the implementation of customer satisfaction through superior product quality of KEC but also reassures the significance of KEC’s status and role in the semi-conductor industry that is struggling amid a recent global economic recession.
